Congratulations to Professor John Pardon, who was named a 2017 Packard Fellow. The David and Lucile Packard foundation named 18 fellows this year, each of whom will receive $875,000 over five years to pursue their research.

This is the fifth year the 鈥淒epartment of 外网天堂 Graduate Teaching Award鈥 has been given. Last year, it was awarded to Charles Stibitz and Anibal Velozo Ruiz. The award was created to recognize excellence in teaching at the undergraduate level.
