A major gift from the Leinweber Foundation has established the Leinweber Forum for Theoretical Physics (LFTP) at Princeton University. The LFTP will serve as an interdisciplinary hub, bringing together researchers from the departments of Physics, Astrophysical Sciences, and 外网天堂, along with scholars from across the University. The gift will support the research of faculty, graduate students, and postdocs as well as collaboration with other institutions.

Department of 外网天堂 Professor, Igor Rodnianski, whose research spans partial differential equations and general relativity, emphasized the long tradition of collaboration among Princeton鈥檚 theorists and the importance of continued investment in this work. Rodnianski noted, "When you see what mathematicians and physicists have accomplished together at Princeton over the last century, you begin to understand how critical it is to invest in this work 鈥 and to work across departmental and institutional boundaries.鈥
