John Conway was a professor at Princeton since 1987.Ìý He has been honored with numerous awards; he received the London Mathematical Society’s Berwick Prize and Pólya Prize, Northwestern University’s Nemmers Prize in ÍâÍøÌìÌÃ, and the American Mathematical Society’s Leroy P. Steele Prize for Mathematical Exposition. He was elected a fellow of the Royal Society of London and a fellow of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences.
