Joshua Evan Greene of Boston College, who earned his PhD at Princeton in 2009, has been selected to receive the听2023 Levi L. Conant Prize.

The prize, awarded by the American Mathematical Society, recognizes the best expository paper published in either the听Notices of the AMS听or the听Bulletin of the AMS听in the preceding five years. Prize winners are invited to present a public lecture at Worcester Polytechnic Institute鈥攚here Conant spent most of his career鈥攁s part of the institute's Levi L. Conant Lecture Series, established in 2006.

The Conant Prize will be awarded in January 2023 at the Joint Mathematical Meetings, which will be held in Boston.
