The physical space method of deriving Morawetz-Energy estimates in Kerr, that is robust methodwhich can beeasilyextendedtoperturbations ofKerr, have played an important rolein the proofof the nonlinear stability ofslowly rotating Kerr black holes. In this talk, I will discuss a physical space derivation ofglobalMorawetz-Energyestimates forthescalarwave equation in aKerr spacetime with large angular momentum.
