The physical space method of deriving Morawetz-Energy estimates in Kerr, that is robust method听which can be听 easily听 extended听to听 perturbations of听 Kerr, have played an important role听 in the proof听of the nonlinear stability of听slowly rotating Kerr black holes. In this talk, I will discuss a physical space derivation of听 global听 Morawetz-Energy听 estimates for听the听 scalar听 wave equation in a听 Kerr spacetime with large angular momentum.
