Alexandros Eskenazis, Princeton University

In this talk we will present a selection of both classical and recent听results from convex and metric geometry and explain how they follow from听
well-studied functional inequalities. Examples may include isoperimetric听inequalities, lower bounds on the bi-Lipschitz distortion of discrete听
metric spaces into Banach spaces, geometric properties of expander听graphs and large scale properties of Alexandrov spaces of bounded curvature.
