On Bressan's mixing conjecture

In this talk, I shall try to give an overview of Bressan's听mixing conjecture. Starting with an outline of the seminal work of听听
DiPerna-Lions and Ambrosio on the transport equation, I'll motivate听the conjectures of Bressan. After this we'll look at some toy听听
combinatorial problems and discuss some approaches to this conjecture听which has lead to some interesting harmonic analysis.
