Automorphism group schemes of surfaces in positive characteristic.

In this talk I will present some structural results about the automorphism group scheme of certain surfaces, including general type and their canonical models, defined over an algebraically closed field of positive characteristic. In particular, a complete classification of its Frobenius kernel will be given and the differences with the characteristic zero case will be emphasized.
